Useful Information

Your cottage will be available from 3pm on the date of arrival and we ask that you vacate by 10am on the day of departure.

If you could please text Helen on 07808 831264 or Annabel on 07860 283582, 15 minutes before your arrival. We will then be ready to meet you in the car park, to show you around the cottage and go through the necessary information.
If you wish to arrive early or stay late we may be able to arrange this at an extra hourly charge, please contact Annabel@peplowhall.co.uk

As this is our family home we do not allow unannounced visitors onto the estate. Any Family or friends wishing to visit guests staying in the holiday cottages must be agreed prior to arrival.

For those visitors wanting to enjoy the grounds we charge five pounds per adult and children are free. The money raised will go towards the Alzheimer’s Garden. (Cash only)

Although our cottages receive an intensive clean after every guest stay, we cannot ensure that there are no traces of nuts or allergens.

Due to our rural location, taxi services are limited. We do advise booking in advance for all taxi journeys throughout your stay.

Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited on the estate. If you are found to have been smoking, in your cottage a £300 charge will be added.

Free parking is available onsite. If you are bringing more than one car, can the second car please park behind the first car in your allocated space? Any additional cars are to be parked in the overflow car park which is opposite the cottages. Please do not park on the grass verge or on the track.

Please be aware that there are gravel drives and pathways throughout the estate; this may affect persons with impaired mobility and guests in high heels.

Free guest Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.

As we are a rural location coverage is, at times, unreliable. We have therefore found a solution via connecting to WIFI calling, you may need to turn your phone off and then back on.

We have created a peaceful environment; we therefore ask that children be kept under adult supervision at all times, and we politely ask that they be considerate to other guests.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Pheasant Cottage and Hare Cottage.

  • Pheasant Cottage is suitable for one medium dog.
  • Hare Cottage is suitable for two dogs.

Please contact us if you are unsure if your dog is suitable for these cottages.

Your pet must be up to date with their vaccination’s flea, tick and worm treatments before arrival at Peplow Hall.

Dogs must be on-lead at all times due to livestock in surrounding fields. We will advise you of our run-free zones upon arrival.

Dogs must not be left in the cottages alone

At Peplow, our priority is to promote sustainability and conserve nature. Many items commonly used for decoration, such as balloons and lanterns, can pose severe threats to our environment. They often end up as litter and pose a fire risk. Animals often mistake these items for food, leading to injury and even death. In light of these serious risks, we respectfully ask our guests to refrain from bringing these items to Peplow.

Peplow is a quiet Hamlet and we would ask all our guests to be respectful of our neighbours. A polite request to please drive slowly down the avenue and not toot horns upon leaving.

Peplow Hall Luxury Cottages will inspect the property at the end of your stay. If you leave the property in an unacceptable condition, you will be charged for any damage, breakages or loss and any additional cleaning costs. If you notice something is missing or damaged in your accommodation, please let us know immediately so that we may take the appropriate action. If there has been any damage or breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could report them promptly, especially before checkout.

If there are damages, breakages or loss and repairs are required (e.g. replacement lock and keys) you will be notified in writing by email and/or post of the reason and the cost. Peplow Hall Luxury Cottages reserves the right to take action to recover this cost.

We take full immediate payment for booking accommodation.

We regret that we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage to personal items during your visit.
